Mid sins of confusion and preachers complain
How dear to my soul is communion of saints
To know at th banquet of --- --- there's room
An' feel in th presence of Jesus at home

An' exfall from God an' a stranger to grace
I'll wander thru earth it's great pleasures to trace
In th pathway of sin, I continued t' roam
Unmindful of lust, that it led me from home

Th pleasures of earth, I have seen fade away
A bloom for a season but some may decay
But pleaseures more lasting in Jesus are given
Salvation on earth an' a mansion in Heaven
